Engaged!

On December 23rd, 2011 Chad proposed to me, so we are officially engaged!! We had plans to go to his moms that night for dinner so when we left the house he suggested we leave the Christmas tree lights on in the front window. So we went to his moms for dinner and had a great time, although all night he was avoiding me like the plauge because apparently he had the ring in his pocket the whole time and didn't want me to find it. When we got home he fumbled at the door with the keys and of course I'm wondering what he's doing, and why were standing the cold. He turned to me and said some great things :) then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was awesome! On the porch of our new cute house, under the Christmas lights, it was great! And like an dummy my reponse was "well yeah!" instead of yes, I heard myself say that and felt silly, but what could I do now! So we laughed about it. Chad is a great planner! It was so much fun to tell our families in person on the following days during the holiday festivities.
