Chad is a super guy and deserves a shampoo that is up on his super level. Before he went gluten free his scalp was dry, itchy, and tight feeling. It got better once he cut out gluten. But over the years the issues have arisen again. So I decided to make him his own shampoo that is free of harsh chemicals, I suspect those chemicals are the culprits. Thanks to my fellow "crunchy" internet friends I devised a recipe for him. First I infused calendula, rosemary, rose petals, and plantain leaves. Then I added some tamanu oil, I chose this oil for its anti-microbial properties. And lastly, I added the tea tree, lavender, and rosemary essential oils. The "soap" base is Dr. Bronners in the unscented baby type. I put the soap in quotations, because its technically not a soap since there are no chemical foaming agents in it. If you haven't tried it highly suggest it! Check out their website for all ita uses! I found out a couple years ago that I was allergic to sodium laural/laureth sulfate. Dr. Bronners works wonders for me! Ok enough of that! As you can see in the pictures the final product isnt much to look at, but so far Chad likes it! He wishes it would foam more. So I will tweak that when I make the next batch. Im pretty excited I finally made shampoo! Makes me think, what the heck can I make next! Thanks for reading! :-)

11 months old
Wow 11 months old! Time flies! Paisleys favorite things right now are: coconut pears, pointing and touching everything, saying and waving bye bye, standing on her own, playing ball, eating banana and watermelon by herself, emptying any sort of full bag, clearing the table with one swipe of her arm, and doing her best to make beat box noises like Dad. Shes just the cutest, so we think :-)
"Sun"day fun day
Paisley and I decided to play in the yard. It was far too nice out to not enjoy it! Paisley scooted around in her walker seat and I pulled weeds, I think she was having way more fun! Kuma and Marley were enjoying the nice warm day too!
Easter 2014
Easter Sunday! We had a great day! Although Chad had to work most of the day. Paisley and I walked around the yard looking at the flowers. And then when dad got home we went to dinner at Grandma Annie's and Ralphs house. Delicious food and great company! Happy Spring everyone!

2 months old
At 2 months old Paisley could hold her head up and loved to sit up, with help of course. We were doing tummy time everyday and she hated every minute of it. Paisley went on her first trips when she was 2 months old. We spent the weekend at Gay and Bons condo in Park City. And Meredith and Paisley went to Texas and Alaska for a couple weeks. More pics to come of that adventure!
1 week old
Paisley already had such cute little expressions at one week old. And she loved everything about Chad. She loved sleeping on his chest.
Welcome home Paisley
When we got home from the hospital the dogs had to check her out. Kuma loved her right away and became her protector. Marley wasn't too sure what to think. And Biscuits could care less. Haha
