Engaged!

On December 23rd, 2011 Chad proposed to me, so we are officially engaged!! We had plans to go to his moms that night for dinner so when we left the house he suggested we leave the Christmas tree lights on in the front window. So we went to his moms for dinner and had a great time, although all night he was avoiding me like the plauge because apparently he had the ring in his pocket the whole time and didn't want me to find it. When we got home he fumbled at the door with the keys and of course I'm wondering what he's doing, and why were standing the cold. He turned to me and said some great things :) then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was awesome! On the porch of our new cute house, under the Christmas lights, it was great! And like an dummy my reponse was "well yeah!" instead of yes, I heard myself say that and felt silly, but what could I do now! So we laughed about it. Chad is a great planner! It was so much fun to tell our families in person on the following days during the holiday festivities.

Long time no write!

It has been so long so I have updated things on here! So as most of you know we found our cute little house in Kearns! We had been house shopping since January 2011 and finally found the one in August and moved in, in Septmeber. We love it's such a cute little older house, with alot of character.

Also in September Meredith's grandfather recieved some bad news. We found out he had liver cancer and didn't have long to live. Grandpa Ray lived for one after receiving this news. We traveled up to Ririe, Idaho for the final funeral and burial.

Since my last post I have since stopped going to school, again. I am just working alot instead. I have since changed positions at IHC, I am now a health unit coordinator. Still in the Heart and Lung building at IMC hospital, but now I work in the Cardiac Recovery Procedures Unit. I am enjoying the change of scenery! I am also still at SkyWest.

Recently we recieved some bad news about Leonard, my moms boyfriend. He got sick the day after Thanksgiving and has very unfortunately gone downhill very fast over the last few weeks. We are thinking about alot about him and hoping for a miracle. We recently went to Wendover for his birthday, we had fun donating some of our money and hanging out with LG and Mom.

New job, new school, new house... pfew!

So many things have happened since my last update! We found a place to live! It's an old house in West Valley, and it's kinda run down, but the inside has been redone and it meets all our needs for right now. I started school last week. I have math class every morning and communications every Friday morning. I love being back in school, it's fulfilling to continue learning. I also got a new job this week! I still work for Skywest and IHC, but now I have a permanent part-time position with IHC. I will be working in the Heart and Lung building at IMC. I am excited to start working in this position. Chad and I running around crazy all day every day with working, school, packing, moving, and spending time together. I will all be worth it! Things are starting to look up..

The time has come..

Well the time has finally come. We received our notice to vacate our house. We have 30 days from today. Chad and I are looking everyday for a new place to live and trying to get everything packed and get ourselves downsized in time! lol We haven't really found many suitable places to live, but luckily we have a little time to keep looking for something that will work for us.

Heise Hot Springs, family reunion

Kuma and I went up to Ririe, ID. for the Finn family reunion this weekend. We had so much fun! Kuma met all sorts of dog friends, got in a couple little dog fights, that she started! And I had some great conversations with family I haven't seen in a while. This first picture is Kuma at 50 mph, look at her left ear! lol The next two pictures are my view of the Snake River from the front door of my tent. Beautiful! The next one is Kuma, happy in her traveling bed. And last but not least the last one is Lacey and I at the fruit stand we stopped at to buy fresh homemade fruit, vegetables, jam, and bread. Yum!!
